In this video I dive into how I modified my PC case to accept a 3rd graphics card. This is one of my main tools for making the animations in my videos. I shot the footage for this a few years ago when there were no brackets on the market for doing this. At this point making the bracket is no longer a requirement but if you just like a solid DIY experience with gratuitous tooling shots, have a watch! I touch on some of the issues that come into play when installing a mount like this one.

Since this was a 3 year old build, I can say that no harm was done in the process. No GPUs failed along the way. The PCI-express extension cable has worked flawlessly all this time both with 3 980ti GPUs and now with 2070s.

You can now buy these brackets for a reasonable price with the PCIe cable included:

I am currently in the design phase of designing my own computer case. Like and subscribe to see that when it comes out. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see in a custom case, let me know!
