I had a fun Train weekend. Starting Friday on my way to Rochester, NY I got to see the NS Conrail heritage unit on train 265, then I caught NS train 310 in n Elmira with the NIEX 8525. Scaletrains came to the Rochester Model Train Club layout to talk about the Scaletrains Company. Otto M Vondrak from Railroad Model Craftsman Magazine was also there. Shane Wilson the owner of Scaletrains gave a great talk about the origins of the company. They also had a nice display of some of there HO, N and S items. After the Scaletrains presentation, the club ran a bunch of Scaletrains locomotives on the layout. 
The next day my friends Joe, Alex, Nathan and I went to the Spring Time Express Model Train Show by the Oswego Valley Railroad Association at the Volney Volunteer Fire Barn in Fulton, NY. After the show, Joe, Alex and I went to the East end of the CSX DeWitt Train Yard in Syracuse, NY. Later on my friend William stopped by to Railfan with us. I would get to see 11 trains plus the switching job with two SD40-3s.
I wish all my weekends were this much fun! Thank you to everyone who made this a great train weekend!
