After a 2-year "corona break", the traditional parade of the haflinger horses took place again in Merano on Easter Monday, April 18, 2022. Numerous young men and women in festive south tyrolean costumes paraded with their haflingers through the streets of Merano. Fanfare players and carriages with the guests of honor were also present. This year, however, unfortunately without accompaniment of marching bands. The final destination of the parade was the racecourse in Merano, where the gallop race took place in the afternoon. 🏇
