Today I ran over to see Sarkis at RDB LA about what he thinks I should do moving forward with this body work on the i8. The fender isn't awful to people who don't know that area was painted, but for me its really noticeable.

Even before the car went in to be repainted, I was considering wrapping the i8 in a flat black color similar to what it already has. My thinking is that the wrap will be easier to maintain than the current paint, and if I get small dings or scratches, it's much easier to replace the wrap than attempt paint matching the car.

RDB LA is one of the premier exotic car repair and customization shops in LA. They're youtube channel show some of the dope cars they work on    / rdblosangeles  . Sarkis at RDB gave 2 options, 1 to repaint the entire side of the car with PPG paint and that is going to run me close to $6000 or wrap the full car which with them would run about the same price.
