Two Looney Tunes shorts that Boomerang absolutely loves airing to death have finally made their debuts on Discovery Family, where unlike Boomerang, they’re presented restored and uncropped.

I already uploaded a full recording of one of Boomerang’s many, MANY airings of “Yankee Doodle Daffy”, thanks to that short being in the public domain, so I figured I might as well also cover the short’s premiere on Discovery Family when it came on earlier today; and thankfully, the short that came on afterwards is a copyrighted installment that Warner Bros. has no trouble with other people posting onto YouTube without their permission, so I could include THAT installment in its entirety as well. I would have just made this a plain old continuity video with the opening and closing titles to the first short included in today’s half-hour of Looney Tunes on Discovery Family (“A Witch’s Tangled Hare”, which Boomerang ALSO loves rerunning an awful lot), but unfortunately, technical difficulties on my end regarding the streaming website I use to record cable channels prevented me from doing so. I don’t mind, though; you aren’t missing out on THAT much by me not covering it anyways.

Oh, and this is just a quick aside, but Discovery Family, it is SPRING BREAK for most school students (including myself) now, and you’re even airing an Easter-themed Looney Tunes short for the first time now. Why are you still using your WINTER bumpers and screenbug?
