Take some scrap Coke cans, a gas torch and a BBQ. Stir in some plaster of Paris and a sprinkle of sand. What do you get? The PUBG Level 3 helmet from Player Unknown Battle Grounds of course. I changed the scale in CURA to fit a sausage and stretched the helmet slightly front to back (visor to rear of helmet) to make it look more realistic. It just looked a little too round to my eyes as standard.
