The Archaeoastronomy Database explores the ancient site of Carrowkeel in the Bricklieve Mountains of County Sligo, Ireland to record measurements of azimuth and altitude data along sightlines for future archaeoastronomy analysis to determine/confirm and demonstrate orientation and alignments. This video features cairns G, H, and K which are passage tombs from the Neolithic Period. Cairn G has a roof box structure very similar to the one at Newgrange in the Boyne Valley. Check other videos on the channel for more about possible astronomical alignments at Carrowkeel.
