Because defensive shooting requires protectors to shoot accurately and quickly under stress, how a gun is held becomes very important. In this video I will demonstrate the difference between a good grip and a bad grip relating to muzzle flip on the range, and I will walk through the biomechanical reasons why a thumbs-forward grip is the best pistol grip to date. Proper grip should allow the gun to stay flat even while the slide is quickly cycling. Visit Telluric Group for world class training. Champion competitive shooters such as Dave Sevigny, Bob Vogel, Shane Coley, JJ Racaza use this grip, as well as SWAT teams and members of the military's special operations.
