Watch our Dr. Mei Rui play a concert with a live aesthetic brain-computer interface projection based on an electroencephalogram (EEG) made possible through a groundbreaking collaboration with Dr. Jose Contreras-Vidal and his neuroengineering team at the National Science Foundation Industry–University Cooperative Research Centers BRAIN Center – University of Houston. Dr. Rui is joined by the Texas Medical Center Orchestra, Libi Lebel, conductor. Her performance is part of MD Anderson's Concerts in The Park, a monthly live performance series featuring world-class performing artists from around the globe, and our Music-in-Medicine Initiative designed to harness music to improve the health and wellness of patients, caregivers and health care providers.
