Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Air Lift Wireless One Air Compressor System for rear Air Helper Springs on a 2024 Ford F-250. Now this system is super easy to use. There's only a few buttons here, and I'll give you a quick breakdowns. To adjust your air pressure of what you have, just arrow up or arrow down. We'll go about 30 PSI for now. (compressor whirring) We have three presets.

So if, say you have three different trailers, maybe a boat, an RV, and a utility trailer, you can set those presets just by holding this single button down for three seconds. Your second preset, you would do it with this, and then your third preset, you would hold these down together for three seconds. And that way you can get those prepped for whatever trailer you're gonna be using. What's really nice about a system like this with Bluetooth capabilities is, not only can you mount this up on your visor and you can adjust on the fly, but if your kids get ahold of this, or you lose this, or whatever it may be, battery's dead, you can still use the mobile app from Air Lift and it's gonna control the compressor all the same. So it's really nice to have a few different options to be able to get your bags to work.

And this is what it looks like when it's installed. And the compressor has a pretty small footprint, so you can generally mount this up on the frame of a vehicle pretty easily. Now it does come with a U-bolt that can go around some frames, but I found that on the newer Fords, they are a little bit taller, but no problem. They give you some self-tapping screws to get you nice and securely mounted to the frame. Now what's really nice too is it's really simple.

There's not a whole lot that you have to get set up, and if you install the airbags yourself, this is equally as easy, I would think. You have an air filter that you just mount up to get air to the compressor. This compressor can go up to 100 PSI, which is the maximum for many bags out there. Some of them can go up a little bit higher than that, but this should get you pretty close to being able to really take any load that you need to with this truck. A great part though is the minimum amount of air in a bag is normally five PSI, and that's to keep it from kind of squishing around and getting damaged.

So this will keep it at five PSI at all times, so you don't have to worry about checking your bags to see if they've gone underneath that. As far as mounting, there are two different configurations that you need to avoid. And the first one is gonna be having this plug facing towards the ground. So we can't do it like this. We also don't want this Air Lift logo facing towards the ground. So that leaves us with a few different options. And as far as mounting goes, we have a U-bolt bracket that allows you to go around a frame rail. Now that is gonna limit you to, obviously, how you mount this up. There's also holes that you can use, the self-tapping screws that are included. So if you're okay with drilling into your frame, that's another good way to do it. But as I mentioned before, I think it's easier to get, it's part of our stuff all kind of plugged in, and at least plumbed, ready to go, and then mounted up. Now I'm gonna choose to use the U-bolt because I think it's a nice quick, easy way to get this mounted up nice and secure. And on our passenger side frame rail, kind of right underneath the rear passenger door, we're gonna be mounting it up. Now there is some wire loom that's attached to the frame just with some plastic Christmas trees. I'm gonna peel that back. There's also some wire here that we wanna make sure we're not, obviously, damaging by tightening down the U-bolt bracket. So I'm just gonna kind of clear that up first. Now something to think about too, we also have our electric steps here, so just make sure it's, clearance wise, we're not gonna make any contact with that. And with this cleared out, that's gonna make it nice and easy to mount up. Grab the harness, this is gonna run up to our battery to get 12-volt power, and I'm gonna go ahead and get this plugged in. And once that snaps in, there is a red tab that you're gon
