Social Entrepreneur and Ashoka Young Changemaker Mr. Wasudev Mishra discusses the challenges that his town faced to cope up with herculean issues like poverty and hunger and how social entrepreneurship is helping elevate the social and financial status of women in his town. He further talks on collective responsibilities which will lead to solving major world problems. Mr. Wasudev Mishra is an Ashoka Young Changemaker. He is the founder of Silaigram, a social impact startup providing sustainable livelihoods for rural women in India. He is also the CEO of Procohat Technologies, an IT company. Silaigram's design team upcycles cloth into clothing and accessories that are sold online. Wasudev has also taken a leadership role during the pandemic, serving on his mayor’s response taskforce and building a tech platform to bring together changemakers across sectors to collaborate on relief efforts.
