We catch our first train (Z194) south of Memphis in Glover, MS and follow the CN Yazoo Subdivision south to Yazoo City. Traffic was very good on the day these recordings were made (04/10/21). After meeting the northbound manifest A419 with BNSF power, also in Glover, we see Z194 with his SD75I duo again in Falcon, MS. In Lambert, MS a northbound empty coal train waits for us next to the landmark coal tower. At a long curve leading to Money, MS, we watch a southbound manifest with an SD70M-2 leader; we'll meet him again twice on the way down to YC. In Money, he passes a northbound grain train with a KCS SD70ACe lead unit, waiting for him at Money Siding. A brief chase takes us back north to Philipp, MS where we get another beautiful shot at the grainer. We stay in Philipp for Z195, which has sections of stacks and racks, and eventually go south to reach the destination Yazoo City. The same UP autorack train we saw earlier in the morning on the Arkansas side of the Mississippi River (previous video), now goes south through Yazoo. The day is complete with another CN manifest with an ET44AC leader, which we catch in Yazoo and in Tchula, MS right after sunset. Enjoy this video full of rail action!
