The Rake was joined by the head bartender of Dukes Bar, Alessandro Palazzi, to guide us on what goes into making his renowned Vesper Martini. His secret is that instead of Lillet Blanc, he substitutes a special amber vermouth he had created in collaboration with Sacred Gin of London. The flavour profile was subtly nuanced. The drink has this almost magical uplifting effect.
