The tan hot tub cover is 5 years old (June 2015) and still holding up great, it is made by Covermates

The Propane water heater is 3 years old (Nov 2017) and also still working great. I keep it covered with a fabric cover (a spare tire cover that came with our travel trailer cover) to keep rain from rusting it.

With the propane heater (12kw) and electric heater (6kw) together (18kw total), our 300 gallon hot tub heats at a rate of 25 deg F per hour.


Update: 2021 the Campchef heater developed a leak. I bought all new plumbing internals (flow valve, flow meter, solenoid, microswitches) and that fixed the drip. Campchef part number: HWD-27, it retails for $39.99
