In this video I go over and explain the steps taken to figure out if your RV AC had stopped working. In my particular video I’ve already checked the thermostat, I’ve checked the fuses, the breakers, and now have narrowed it down to the actual capacitors. 9 out of 10 when this issue arrises and your RV AC kicks on but does not blow cold air or just not kick on at all, chances are you’re capacitors have blown.

I also demonstrate the importance of taking a picture of your capacitor wiring to make sure once you reinstall them you wire them back up correctly.

Please note for safety purposes that you discharge or capacitors first be sure your power is unplugged and your breakers are off.

This demonstration will save you several hundred dollars from not having a RV technician come out and charge you parts and labor charges. I hope this video helps you save a little cash and also learn a few new steps in the process if this ever arises again in the future.
