In this video, we analyse a German helmet that was found by a Dutch family in Arnhem in April 1945. The helmet in named on the inside to "HM Krönert" and has a very particular "kindergarden spots" winter camouflage on the outside. It is a model 1940 German helmet with an army decal, that had already been repainted once in the field before receiving its winter camouflage, presumably during the winter of 1944 to 1945.
