I’ve been making quite a lot of “what is the difference between” series, but realized that I have missed out on the all-time classic “what is the difference between samurai and ninja.”

There are already quite a lot of videos on this topic, but through my comments and Instagram, many people told me that they would love to hear about my version of their differences.
I’m so grateful for the requests, so here it goes.

There are some Japanese people too who don’t really understand the difference between samurai and ninja.
But trust me, they are completely different.

So today, as a katana sword trainee in Kyoto, I will explain the three main differences that I think are most important between samurai and ninja.

At the end of this video, I would like to also talk about my opinions on the classic question, “Which is stronger, samurai or ninja?”!
