This is the new Lamborghini Revuelto and everything you want to know about it! Join me for a first drive and full in-depth look at the long-awaited Aventador successor. Armed with a hybrid V12 making over 1,000hp, Vallelunga circuit is ready for the raging bull, let's go!

12 years after the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 arrived on the scene, the successor is now here and during the global media drive we have a first option to get behind the wheel and find out what it's like. Retaining a naturally aspirated V12, it's now supported by three electric motors, combining the 825hp combustion engine with battery power for a total 1,015hp (1,001bhp). However, it's all new; from the carbon-mono fuselage, to the 8 speed dual clutch transmission, and significant upgrades to the interior for the new model.

Having seen Revuelto for the first time at Centro Stile in Sant'Agata Bolognese, this time around it's all about the driving; from the different modes, to the power it delivers on circuit. There's no doubt that a sonorous engine note like this in the modern day is a glorious thing to behold, and with multiple cars running on track all day, there's a lot of opportunity to soak it in.
