In this video you will see 1001 or Hastings DEMU/Thumper operate the cogload climber tour to Devon. With the convenience of a strike day the DEMU took no haste on the outwards journey arriving into Exeter Central 20 early. To make sure we didn't miss it we took an earlier train to Honiton where we see it next with an organised photostop. With the West Of England main line being single track it had to be pathed at Chard giving us a final opportunity to chase it up to Crewkerne which is where the final shot is.
