Google Street View is an amazing technology that captures views of every possible place and thing from every possible angle. As one sifts through the infinite number of images and views, the perfect view of, for example, one's house can be found. There are hundreds of photos and videos online of incredible random moments caught on camera by these cars as they meticulously go up and down every single street in every single city, eventually, in the whole world.
A beach or river environment does similarly with the infinite sea of rocks laying at our feet. The trained eye can learn to pick through these "images" from deep time and capture some of those amazing instances preserved in a single rock held in the palm of our hand.
I hope you will enjoy this series of Shorts. No, do not expect a geology lesson in each video, as 60 seconds is an amazingly short time for one to talk about a rock with any detail! These are some of my favorite snapshots into the deep past, and I trust that God has put enough amazing detail into each rock that it will plainly speak for itself.
