today i am going to be showing you how you can EASILY download side quest directly onto your Quest 2 device. So you can install games like Minecraft VR, Pavlov shack other great VR games. So make sure to subscribe if you love VR and lets get to it! So make sure to subscribe if you love VR

So at present there are 2 main ways you can go about downloading side quest onto your Quest 2 device. the first way is a NO PC tutorial and that requires just an android mobile device and a USB c to USB C. The second way requires a PC and a USB c to whatever connector you have on your computer. I will assume for both these tutorials that you have prepared your device for sideloading by setting up your account as a developer you will also need a side quest account. So depending on which method you want to use you can skip to the time codes on screen now!

This is how to download Sidequest to the quest 2 without a PC - So in order to download side quest onto your quest 2 WITHOUT A PC You will then need to go to your play store on your android device and download the sidequest app. once thats installed plug your Quest into your Android device with a USB C to USB C. You should get a prompt asking if you allow access to the Quest 2. Click always open and OK. it should then ask you to choose an app for USB device, You want to select Sidequest and Always. then within the headset make sure to allow any prompts you get. open sidequest and at the bottom you should see a green circle confirming your quest is connected. Now go to the search bar and search for sidequest. You should see an opntion for 'sidequest inside your headset' Click it and select download app. If it ask you to log in you will need to but you should see sidequets successfully install on your headset. now all you need is go to your headset and go to unknow sou unknown sources and click sidequest and just follow the onscreen prompts on your mobile and there we have it. and

This is how to download Sidequest to the quest 2 with a PC - so in order to download sidequest onto your quest 2 device using a pc you will first need to plug your device into your pc using a USB C cable. Now install the sidequest app by clicking on the link in the description and make an account. Once that's installed you can select GET SIDEQUEST and then you can select one of these two options. now click on the option on the left and it will download another file to your pc. now open it and click run and you will get this pop up. You should see your quest is connected to your PC and then simply click on 'install sidequest to your headset' once that's done then open sidequest from the unknown sources tabs and follow the on screen steps to link your side quest and that's it lads. thanks for watching!
