Innocule Materials and Additives: Founded in 2014 by Gyan Ranjan Das and Surbhi Sarna, Inncoule focuses on enhancing mineral yield, especially iron, from ores crucial for steel production. Their flagship product, OREFLO, acts as a stickiness inhibitor, facilitating the extraction of iron from moist ores by up to 100%. Widely adopted, it requires no significant modifications to existing mining plants.

MachPhy Solutions: Established in 2017 by Pradeep Rout, Suraj Kumar, and Gaurav Anand, MachPhy Solutions specializes in cold chain solutions. Inspired by witnessing polio vaccine inefficiencies in 2014, Pradeep founded the company to address India's inadequate cold chain infrastructure, which often results in 20% of healthcare products reaching degraded conditions. Their temperature-controlled bags, maintaining 2 to -60 degrees, incorporate an active cooling system, enabling remote temperature monitoring and regulation for various vaccines.

Grozip: In 2016, Ananda Mishra, former Google Business Group Manager, along with Surya Singhari and Asha Mishra, founded Grozip to address the lack of reliable grocery delivery in Cuttack. Initially a milk delivery startup, Grozip evolved into a hyperlocal platform, delivering groceries, parcels, and medicine within 3 hours. Selected for Alibaba's eFounders Fellowship in 2018, Ananda leveraged insights from mentor Jack Ma to expand Grozip in India's tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Vedi Herbals: Established in 2016 by Sourab Agarwal and Priyanka Agarwal, Vedi Herbals specializes in medicinal cannabis products, offering cannabis-infused oils and tablets for issues like anxiety and insomnia through their website. Compliant with the NDPS Act, Vedi Herbals utilizes hemp plants, holding a pan-India license from the Ministry of AYUSH. In 2020, they opened India's first Medical Cannabis Clinic in Bengaluru, while conducting all research and development in Bhubaneshwar.

Santaan: Founded in 2014 by Raghab Prasad Panda and Dr. Satish Prasad Rath, Santaan, a multi-center fertility clinic, addresses the taboo surrounding fertility issues in India. Focused on tier 2 and tier 3 cities, Santaan provides comprehensive fertility care, from diagnosis to IVF, in one location. Their AI-based product, Fertilite, allows patients to conduct tests and plan treatments from home. With two centers in Bhubaneshwar and Berhampur, Odisha, and a recent launch in Bengaluru, Santaan claims to have assisted over 7,000 couples in becoming parents.

Desia: Established in 2014 by Yugabrata Kar, Desia is an eco-tourism initiative showcasing Odisha's local tribal experiences in the Koraput valley. The project, predominantly run by local villagers, generates income reinvested in the community for youth education and skill development, fostering a sustainable ecosystem. Employing over 40 people, Yugabrata aims to replicate this model across various Odisha regions.

Homvery: Established in 2017 by Prallad Mittal, Ritesh Mittal, and Rajat Kar, Homvery is essentially creating Odisha's Urban Company. Inspired by technicians' reluctance to visit homes due to bargaining concerns, Prallad and his co-founders launched Homvery with a pilot using 2,000 rupees. The platform connects customers directly with technicians, providing fixed and transparent pricing. Expanding to 7 additional cities in Odisha, Homvery boasts over 10,000 registered users.


Munico Foods: Founded in 2021 by Satyabrath Muni, Berhampur-based Munico Foods collaborates with farmers, processing their agricultural produce and selling it under their brand through their website. The startup recently secured the top spot in the Millet Odisha Startup Innovation Challenge, organized by Startup Odisha, earning a prize of 3 lakh rupees for their efforts in promoting millet-based food products like ragi papad, energy bars, and health drinks, ultimately benefiting farmers.

Biotez Agrinovation: an agritech startup founded in 2020 by NIT Rourkela alumni Shitarashmi Sahu and her botany professor Meena Kumari Maharana, addresses the environmental issue of steel slag generated from India's growing steel production. The startup has successfully tested biofertilizers made from steel slag on 50 farms, resulting in a notable 10-20% increase in agricultural yield.
