Hyundai gave the 2020 Sonata an aggressively styled grille with daytime running lights that stretch up over the hood. There's nothing boring or plain about it. Highlighting the new technology features is the remote parking assist system called Smart Park, which comes standard on the Limited trim and allows you to be outside while controlling the car. Hyundai's digital key app, also standard on Limited, even lets you use your phone as a key. Combine these features with a large touchscreen and excellent voice controls and you've almost got yourself a luxury sedan without the luxury price tag.

It's hard to go wrong with either of these midsize sedans. The Honda Accord does everything well and has aged like fine wine. The Hyundai Sonata has the aggressive styling and added technology that appeal to the modern driver. We like the Honda Accord for its enjoyable driving experience and roomier interior. But that's not to take anything away from the Sonata, which is less expensive than the Accord and has style to spare. But which one is for you?
