My 2024 Beta 300 Race Edition (dual plugs!) vs my 2023 Husqvarna TX300 Heritage Edition back to back on a combination GP track/Woods loop see what stands out between the bikes. Back to back rides are a great way to get a feel for the different characteristics of each bike. Thought on each bike....

2023 Husqvarna TX300 Heritage Edition: Lap Time 2:49.5
Big power that is very responsive controllable with strong linear partial throttle torque. Chassis is a great mix of cornering and stability. Stock suspension with AER forks is very adjustable for a wide range of rider weights and riding conditions. I still prefer the feel of spring forks so I installed a set of WP Cone Valve spring forks and a Pro Components rear shock (set up by Brad at Rideworx) on this bike. The Heritage Edition styling has a strong 80's vibe!

2023 Beta 300 Race Edition: Lap Time 2:50.0
Super smooth power with a full flywheel feel that is easy to modulate. The new dual spark plug head helps give the engine a slightly sharper low to mid throttle response and might run a little cleaner too. The KYB suspension feels plush especially on the little chop. The updated Beta chassis (10mm wider frame back bone) has a quick front end steering feel. Nissan brakes with Galfer rotors are strong with a Brembo like aggressive initial bite feel. Beta Race Edition models look so good!

A 0.5 second lap time difference between these very different 300 2-strokes. The Husky wins by laptime on this back to back but a lap time difference under 1 sec is basically a tie! High tech fuel injection vs the simple carburetor! These 300's are so much fun to ride. More back to back rides soon!
