Recently 9to5 mac reported on a possible upcoming Hi-Fi/Lossless tier to Spotify, which was a feature that was first teased over 2 years ago!

But lossless streaming is now widely available on most competing platforms, so Spotify is rather late to the party. Can Spotify bring anything new to the mix?
