Just an idea on how to rebuild your power steering pump.
The pump is off of my 70 chevelle but there are A LOT of GM pumps that generally go together the same way till about 1988 at least.
I have rebuilt these before so this video should show you everything you need to know...

I have never bought a new pump in my life and i have been building them like this with 0 problems for over 10 years
