Again for another episode we find ourselves with an astronomical absurdity found in Surah 18:86 where the Quran claims that the sun rests in a pool of mud!

Further on, Jay and Al Fadi talk briefly about how Muhammad affirmed this view by also suggesting that the reason the sun sets in a pool of mud is so that it can cool down.

Not only that, but within the story of Alexander the Great, found in surah 18, we find an insinuation that seems to suggest that the sun revolves around the earth.
