List

One of the cool ways we can use Data Jar is to improve creating a list. We can literally create as many lists as we want and store them in Data Jar and pull them into shortcuts as needed.

This means we only have to edit or make changes in one place and it will update in all the shortcuts where we use that list.

The list we create can be as simple as we like or as complex as we want it’s 100% up to you.

Business Card

As I’m sure you know we can create a digital card so when people ask if we have a business card we can give them our information really easily.

Once we pull the information we can quickly text it to them or do some more complex things.

The just one of the cool things is we can do right now to pull in and use information as we see fit in the Data Jar.

vCard QR Code

Data Jara isn’t just good with text we can also store files in it.

This means we can store images in a file and pull it as needed.

When it comes to shortcuts this can be used in a lot of different ways.

One of the ways we can use it is by pulling in images we use all the time or if we want to reference our WiFi code or something like that…

The possibilities are limitless.

Important Text File

One of the ways I really enjoy using a data jar when it comes to Siri Shortcuts is with files.

This allows us to create shortcuts that pull information from a text file and then we can do something with that information inside of shortcuts.

Long story short Data Jar is one of the most powerful ways we can level up the shortcuts app and stretch its functionality.

I really like it.
