we spent our September holidays in the west of botswana exploring the Moremi game reserve. it is a lovely park with diverse vegetation and dense animals. its also part of the okavango delta.
we camped at the Moremi North Gate campsites run by SKL Group. it was a marvelous experience. the campsites there are truly wild and magical and campers must always be cautious as hyenas, elephants honey badgers are regular visitors. the campsites are also closer to the Khwai river and hippos always get out to graze at night. we also visited Dombo Hippo Pool which is a stunning spot full of hippos and had our breakfast there.
