‘Pelicans, go forth, take flight and leggo di bird’

It was my distinct pleasure to deliver this valedictory address to the graduating class of 2022. I did my best to produce a speech that was relatable and reflective of the experience that we all had in the Faculties of Sports, Engineering, Science and Technology as well as the Institute of Gender and Development Studies.
