The quicker you ground yourself in the reality of being a day trader in regards to trade plans, the better off you’ll be. As much as I wish I could say there was a guaranteed day trading strategy that would always make you money, that’s simply not how the markets work. No matter what your strategy is, it will need to have a risk management portion. Why? Because sometimes you’ll be wrong and that’s okay! Some trade plans work. Some don’t. It does not mean your strategy is broken and needs to be revamped. It simply means you are dealing with a random market that, at times, truly has a time of its own. Protect your account so that you can survive to thrive another day.
