A graduated cylinder is a type of laboratory equipment used to measure precise volumes of liquid between 25-2000ml. In this video, Justine Siew explains how a graduated cylinder was used to immobilize baby zebrafish in order to study their neural reactions to sound! Justine also outlines pro-tips on how to actually use a graduated cylinder in the lab.
