The UK and France are both about to reach the milestone of having one million EVs on the road. This will occur in early 2024. These are all BEVs and do not include plug in hybrids (PHEV). I talk about how the market has grown since 2019 when I took delivery of the Kia e-Niro. Both countries have similar sized car populations and have seen accelerating growth in EV sales in the past 5 years. How long did it take to get the 1 million EVs? And how long is it likely to take to get to the second million?
