"There's definitely an unlevel playing field," says Kimberly Bryant, Founder and CEO of Black Girls CODE (BGC).

BGC is a non-profit dedicated to changing the face of technology by introducing girls of color (ages 7-17) to the field of technology and computer science. The organization puts a concentration on entrepreneurial concepts.

"This unlevel playing field could prevent us from reaching the communities who would benefit from our work the most, and as a result our commitment as BGC is really about speaking out about these policies, or the lack thereof, in the corporate sector, in governments, that really lead to creating this unequal access to technology and education."

In this clip from LiveWorx, Kimberly talks about the BCG movement and its goal to reach 1 million girls by 2020.
