Again, I was incredibly impressed with how well this 1997 Toyota 4Runner drove and held up. No, it wasn't perfect and that is to be expected for the year and mileage. But driving wise, I had no issues with this Third Generation 4Runner. I noticed it was not very fast but this is the 2.7l 4 cylinder model Toyota 4Runner. It was still fun to wring out in its own way and there is a charm to these older vehicles that cannot be replicated today.
