Asalaamu Alaaikum. With the passing of Shaykh Muhammad alShareef, the Ummah is in a deep state of grief. With several deaths in my family in the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time grieving but also trying my best to preserve my loved one’s legacy because that is how one lives on - through their good deeds. Through our duaas for them. Through continuous, never-ending charity on their behalf. We can do one, two or all three of these for those we have lost - and for our dear teacher, mentor and role model Shaykh Muhammad alShareef. I compiled this short video using an audio from a series of lectures from over 15 years ago called Desert Rose. In this series, Shaykh Muhammad shared glimpses from the life of the Prophet Salallahu Alayhi wa Salam. The ending of this series is so powerful, and is such an incredible reminder.
