This week on PERSPECTIVE meet Ajahn Kammao Perdtanon, an extraordinary phin player. Ajahn Kammao Perdtanon or Mr.Pinpetch Tipprasert has been playing the phin is he was young, and now he is the most renowned phin player. He grabbed his phin and moved to Bangkok at the age of 18. He was struggling until one day someone invited him to play phin at a party for 500 baht. That was when he realized that he can play for a living and that is exactly what he has been doing. He is praised internationally and was given the title of “The Jimi Hendrix of The Phin” for being a part of “The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band”, that has toured in a number of countries worldwide.
