Nothing Wrong with technology, but "Cinematic filmmaking" is not about LOGS or LUTS or RAW or frame rate or megapixels or dynamic range or slow motion or blurry backgrounds or 4K or 6K or 8K or 12K or expensive cameras or 24p or 120p or gamma curves or whatever the latest trendy gear is that's all over Youtube. If you want to really make youtube videos that grab people in a big way, then start focusing on what really matters.
Do not misunderstand this video. This is not about "old vs new" or "film vs digital". Tools are tools. Technology is great. Sure there are times when RAW and hi bit rates are needed, but just don't DEPEND on it to make you a great filmmaker. Sure Netflix requires 4K but in the Youtube world, what you have to say is more important than all the flashy shots in the world.
Don't get hung up on specs and tech. Focus more on story, message and heart.
