My 68RFE behind my 3rd gen Cummins was starting to show it's age so it was time for an upgrade. I decided on an Allison 1000 from CA Conversions. In this video, I document the work that went into this upgrade. The kit from CA Conversions was very complete, but since I am who I am I couldn't just stab this in. I had some things that needed to be completed while the truck was down anyway so I upgraded a few more things along the way. I converted all of my power delivery cables to marine grade wiring so stop current issues and prevent future issues.
