I have been wanting to do this project for my game room for a while now, to really emphasize the purpose of the room, add color, decorate, and just have something that looks cool. I went through all the board games I had and determined which ones I felt would work best for the project. The project is fairly simple, requiring only a 4’x8’ sheet of plywood and a dozen 1”x2”s. The final result makes the board games look like they are pieces of artwork in a frame instead of a child's game. Most board games tend to fall apart by wearing out at the fold from constantly opening and closing. This project helps stop that from happening. Considering some of the games I have were bought by my grandparents, long before anyone had modern technology to entertain themselves, I think this is a great way to preserve games that have been in the family for over 50 years.
