Wondering how to install a Tether Tug dog toy? It's very simple.

Choose a spot in your yard that has healthy soil, and provides enough room for your dog to tug and spin the Tether Tug in all directions.

Your Tether Tug dog toy comes with a metal base.
Insert this base into the soil and pound it into the ground with a rubber mallet. For best results, use a piece of wood between the base and your mallet.

The base should be pounded all the way up to the holes in the top of the base. If the base sticks up higher than the holes, this gives the dog more leverage, and it is more likely that your dog will be able to pull the Tether Tug out of the ground.

Once the base is secure, slide the Tether Tug pole into the base for playtime. Your Tether Tug pole can be removed when not in use.
