ACC, the adaptive distance and speed control system, actively assists the driver in keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front. While driving, ACC maintains the speed set by the driver and can automatically adapt this speed to changing traffic by throttling back, braking or accelerating. The ACC Stop & Go version can bring the vehicle to a standstill and will resume automatically when instructed by the driver.
