We all do it. Belittling who we are, what we do and what we stand for—often without even realizing it. And this toxic self-talk can discourage us from becoming the person we know we’re meant to be.

According to my guest, Katie Horwitch, we need more than repeating positive mantras to create deep and lasting change. We need an inner language for loving who we are while realizing our full potential. She’s here to introduce us to this framework.

Katie Horwitch is a nationally recognized writer, speaker, mindset coach, and women’s empowerment activist. She has spent over a decade working to shift the cultural self-talk paradigm. She has spoken about self-confidence, living fearlessly, and shifting the stories and habits that help shape our negative self-talk patterns. Katie is the founder of the multimedia platform WANT: Women Against Negative Talk and the host of The WANTcast: The Women Against Negative Talk Podcast.

In this interview, Katie offers a new approach to shift our negative self-talk patterns in a real, lasting way that goes beyond just “speaking nicely to yourself.” She provides tips, tools and motivation to improve the stories we tell ourselves so we can move forward fearlessly.
