I hade a free log skidder using a 90 year old Model A front axle and some boards I milled myself on my sawmill.

The Model A axle has been sitting in the woods as long as I can remember. Trees had grown up around it. But the wheels still turned freely. So I got it out last fall and brought it home the other day to make a log skidder with it.

I did not modify the axle or original frame in any way. I just added some wood and used original holes.

I plan to clean this up and paint it this summer. I believe it is worth restoring and preserving.
