Found no good videos on this so decided to make my own for everyone wondering if you can use one of the new style key fobs on an older truck with the old style fob. This should work for many different models not just the f150.

(Must have both of your original keys- Buttons Face Up in programming slot)
Directions:
Key 1
- Car off - Place first key into the key programming slot
- Press Start button (feet off brake) to enter Accessory Mode
- Count to 5
- Press Button to Turn truck off
Key 2
- (while truck is in off position) Quickly replace Key 1 with Key 2 in the programming slot
- Press Start button (feet off brake) to enter Accessory Mode
- Count to 5
- Press Button to Turn truck off
NEW KEY (take the key part off so it fits better in the programming slot)
- (while truck is in off position) Quickly replace Key 2 with the NEW key in the programming slot (it doesnt fit perfectly but push it down with the buttons up as much as you can)
- Press Start Button
- Wait for Flashers or for instrument cluster to tell you the key has been programmed

TIPS:
-Buttons Face upwards in the programming slot
-Make sure all keys have good batteries (the light on the key will not light up even with a new battery so dont use that as a gauge)
-Take the removable key off the new fob so it will fit better into the programming slot
-Know youre on the right track if when you start the car with key 2 in the slot it shows you the Keypad code
