The Boys season two was one of the best things to happen this year. The season shocked us with huge revelations, gorey moments and one incredible fight scene with all the female heroes in the series. Throughout all of the craziness, it can be easy to lose some of the smaller things the second season set up. For instance, the show revealed that there are actually two different kinds of supe out there.

Most supes are injected with compound-v at some point during their childhood which changes their genetic material allowing them to become superpowered. Then there are supes who were sired by other supes, giving them natural superpowers. These two types of heroes may seem similar but there could be a huge difference in their power levels. In order to figure this out, we’ll have to analyze two of the strongest of both kinds. Homelander’s son, Ryan, is a chip off the old block. He has all of the powers and deep psychological issues that his father does.

So we will take this time to analyze both Ryan and Homelander to see which one is naturally stronger. This will let us know which version of supe truly is superior. If you’d like to see how a true Homelander vs. Ryan showdown would go, be sure to check out the ScreenRant video that shows that exact situation.

But let’s get right to the point! Here’s everything we’ve deduced about whether compound-v heroes or natural heroes are stronger in The Boys!
