Follow the yearly struggle of a Whitetail Buck through Spring velvet, Summer feeding, Autumn breeding season, Hunting season, and the harsh Winter.
This 8 point is a resident buck, I’ve watched him grow. This year he was wounded. Not sure if it’s from a car accident, fighting, or was shot. He’s a tough guy and very resilient.

In PA, you can feed deer up to 30 days prior to hunting. My feeders are left empty since mid-late summer. As soon as I am done hunting, I start feeding again. This season we shot our deer on opening day, all hunting was finished, so we started feeding again within a day or two. Feeding is permitted year round if there’s no hunting going on. Feeding is permitted if the property is not in a Chronic Waste Disease area.
