A lot of you have reached out asking what i think of Nudura or why my previous videos have mainly shown Fox Blocks... This video tries to get into the pros and cons of both of these great forms and why I ultimately feel the way i do at this current moment in the ICF market.
I highlight the Pros of Nudura
-foldable for easy shipping
-Duralok technology
-Duramax block sizing
and the cons
-weaker corners
-hard to rip lengthwise
-very expensive
and i get into Fox Blocks and why i ultimately use them for most of my projects currently
-made locally so shipping is a non issue
- old fashioned clips are stronger than the duralok of nudura making them a better form for difficult monopours
-price point significantly lower than nudura for very similar quality and performance
-easy to rip
cons
-harder to transport the cubed pallets
-bright white color leads to sunburn
Both are great products and neither is a bad choice, with current price increases i cant see paying the extra for nudura until market conditions allow more competitive pricing out of a canadian manufacturer.
