Leave the World Behind.
One of the most interesting movies of this year.
A psychological thriller with, mystery, science-fiction, apocalyptic story.
If we had to add a new genre, I would prefer to call it a “cyber-pandemic” movie.
Because our topic develops with a cyber attack that started during a family's vacation, but I will not go into details now, I will give "spoiler"-free information in the first part of the video.

This movie came to my radar because of its director:
Sam Esmail.
How do we remember him?
from the TV series Mr. Robot.
I made two separate videos about the aesthetics of this series 8.5 years ago and about the cyber security issues in the series 6 years ago.
I probably don't need to remind you how successful Mr. Robot was.
The name behind it - Sam Esmail - shot this movie.

Its cast includes actors such as Mahersela Ali, Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke.
So, the famous names we would expect to see in such a movie.
But while watching the credits, two more names we never expected appear:
Michelle and Barack Obama.
The former US president and his wife are the producers of this movie.
While you think, how? What is going on?, the movie starts.
We'll get to the relevance in a moment, because there are some very interesting theories on this subject.
On one side, Mark Zuckerberg's underground bunker, and on the other side, another movie that is planned to be released next year and predicts the American civil war.

This movie is full of symbols, metaphors, and mysteries hidden above and below the surface.
So if you are expecting a clear answer, any clear explanation of what is shown, or a closed ending, this will not satisfy your expectations.
But in this video, I will try to analyze what I see.

First, I'll quickly summarize the story.
Those who are concerned about spoilers and want to watch the movie themselves first can leave us at this stage.
There may be people who say, "Dude, I don't have time, they say the ending of the movie is not good anyway, so give us a summary and then give us the theories."
