In this video, I'll show you how I made a custom LED sign for a barbershop. Using my CNC machine, the letters were cut from MDF and painted with sanding sealer and flat black spray paint for a sleek finish. The frame and backer board were made from 1x4 wood and stained for a contrasting effect, with the backer board in brown and the frame in black. The MDF letters were then attached to the backer board using CA glue. The final touch was to run an LED light strip behind the letters, creating an eye-catching backlit effect that's sure to grab attention! Watch now to see how it all came together!
This was my first attempt at making a backlit sign like this and I definitely learned a lot along the way!
